Selling point of your inn

Selling point seen from the inn and advantages and disadvantages seen from the customer

Favorite place in the workplace

What is the selling point of your inn?

How many staff and owners who work at an inn can say it?

This depends on how much the staff and the owner love the inn where they work.

Please ask the staffs about their favorite places in the inn.

Don’t be sad if they end up with nowhere else.

All we need to do is create a nice space that the staff like.

If there is a place they like in their inn, they will be motivated to make improvements so that they can also like other places.

On the other hand, I  sometimes had customers tell me about selling point of my inn.

Customers may be impressed by places where people who work at inns never thought they were selling point of inns.

This is also something that we will not know unless we actively communicate with customers.

The staff’s favorite place will be selling point of the inn, and if the staff tells customers that ” this place is my favorite place “, the customers will be able to resonate and memorize the nice place.

Advantages and disadvantages for each customer

In addition, we can use the benefits that we get in exchange for the disadvantages as a selling point for the inn.

For example, if the customer has enough time, the price of the land in the inn far from the station is cheaper, so a larger building can be made and the rooms are large, so they can stay more relaxed.

On the other hand, if the customer don’t have enough time, the room will be smaller, but they can act more conveniently if they are at an inn near the station.

Make sure to clearly indicate each appeal point or selling point on the reservation site.

Some customers feel the advantage of being close to the station as a disadvantage. On the other hand, there are customers who feel that the staff feels disadvantageous as a merit.

So what about the psychology of customers who know the disadvantages and choose the benefits that arise from or gain from the disadvantages?

Although it seems simple, the benefits that the customers get will be the benefits they want to get, change to the purpose of their trip, selling point of the inn, and they will stay with awareness of the benefits while staying. And after staying, they will be able to feel a sense of value from high satisfaction.

Point

□ If there is a favorite place of the staff, it will have a positive effect on all places.

□ Not only merit but also honestly convey the demerit accurately.
